Free Speech or Hate Speech

Teenager Tyler Harper, a student at Poway High School, sued his school's administration after it prohibited him from wearing the shirt pictured here. As you can see, the back reads, "Homosexuality is shameful" and includes a biblical citation. On the front, it says, "Be ashamed, our school embraced what God has condemned."

I have to ask: at what point does free speech become hate speech?
hate speech n.
Bigoted speech attacking or disparaging a social or ethnic group or a member of such a group.

Let's face it: the world will always harbor hate groups like the KKK and Christian terrorists like young Tyler here. These Christian terrorists claim there's a double standard: they think that if a school system supports a GSA, then it should also allow expressions of hate such as this. Come on, guys, that's asinine.

Tyler, you're supposed to go to school to learn. If you want to hate, do what everyone else does, go to church.
