Barbie 'Promotes Gender Confusion' Conservative Group Claims

The following are some excerpts from an article on the WDC Media site:

The Barbie Doll website is asking children aged 4-8 for their sex. The choices are three: girl, boy, and I don’t know.

First of all, they don't provide a link to the page. Taken out of context, debating the significance of this question is pointless.

The article goes on to say:

This new move by the iconic and trend-setting Barbie Doll is promoting gender confusion among children, according to Concerned Women for America (CWA).

Promoting gender confusion? You're kidding, right?

Then it says:

"It’s the idea that well, maybe people aren’t born a particular biological sex, or they are but that shouldn’t determine their gender identity," Knight said. "And that’s a very big component of the homosexual activist agenda now."

What? Are you taking speech lessons from George again?

Reputable scientists have and will continue to debate the various factors (e.g.: genetic, maternal endocrinologic and environmental) that influence human sexuality. However, they will agree that it consists of three distinct components:

1. Gender
2. Gender Identity
3. Sexual Orientation
   

So, yes Mr. Knight, there is a distinction between gender and gender identity.

Now this is where the article really goes off into the weeds:

The acronyms for the movement used to be limited to L and G, which stands for lesbian and gay. Then they added the letter, B, which means bisexual. Now it’s LGBT lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender and some even add Q, which stands for questioning youth, Knight pointed out.

"In other words, any kid who’s not sure about who he is, he’s fair game to try to persuade to have same sex acts," said Knight.

What the fuck? Okay, Mr. Knight, pull your head out of your ass for just a few minutes and listen. All children, at some point in their development, question their sexuality. For the vast majority, the answer is simple. The others? Well, it's assholes like you that make their lives a living hell.

For you everything is black or white... But that's not how it works here in the real world. Attitudes like yours have devastated the lives of thousands of inter-sexed children, who are forced to undergo years of painful surgeries to align their gender to conform to some arbitrary sex-assignment made shortly after their birth. To quote Lewis Black, "How ... fucking dumb is that?"

The bottom line: if your child is between the ages of four and eight and surfing the web unsupervised, then you are an fucking idiot. Also, if you do have a son who wants a Barbie, un-wad your panties, go out and buy him one.
